1. Eligibility: The Jeopardy! Google Daily Challenge Sweepstakes is open only to current legal residents of 50 states of the U.S. and D.C., who are physically located and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older as of May 28, 2007. Employees, officers, and directors of Hilltop New Media, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Sony Pictures Digital Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Sony Pictures Television Inc., Quadra Productions, Inc., King World Productions, Jeopardy! (“Show”), Google, sweepstakes administrator, each of the entities’ parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and other related entities, each of the entities’ respective prize suppliers, authorized designees, any other individual or entity associated with this sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes Entities”), members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents), and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter this sweepstakes.
2. Sweepstakes Description: This sweepstakes begins at 4:00:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 28, 2007, and ends at 3:59:59 p.m. PT on July 16, 2007. The sweepstakes consists of thirty (30) individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes and one (1) overall sweepstakes (see “Entry Periods Chart” below). Pre-registration for this sweepstakes (as described below) begins at 4:00:00 p.m. PT on May 28, 2007 but entry into the first daily sweepstakes or the overall sweepstakes (as described below) begins at 4:00:00 p.m. PT on June 4, 2007. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for all purposes of this sweepstakes. Prospective participants will be asked to register (starting at 4:00:00 p.m. PT on May 28, 2007) for the sweepstakes at the JEOPARDY! Web site located at www.jeopardy.com (“Web Site”) and then (starting at 4:00:00 p.m. PT on June 4, 2007) correctly respond (from a choice of two (2) responses) to the Jeopardy! Daily Challenge Clue (Monday – Friday) concerning one of the categories from that day’s Show (“Clue”) to enter the sweepstakes. A different Clue will be posted at 4:00:00 p.m. PT each weekday of the Sweepstakes Entry Period. A Google tool will be provided to assist in obtaining the correct responses to the Clue(s).
3. How to Enter: To enter online, you must first register for the sweepstakes. To register (no fee to register), access the Web Site and follow the online instructions to complete and submit the registration form. Information required on the registration form consists of your First Name, Last name, Street Address (no P.O. Boxes), City, State, Zip Code, Email Address (Username), Daytime Phone Number (including area code), Date of Birth, and your choice of Password (collectively “Registration Information”). All Required Registration Information must be completed in full. Participants can only participate in the sweepstakes under one (1) email address. Once an email address has been registered by a participant, that email address cannot be used by any other person at the Web Site. Only the participant registered under a particular email address may enter the sweepstakes from that email address. Once you are registered (or logged in if you have already registered) and starting at 4:00:00 p.m. PT on June 4, 2007, respond to the Clue for a given individual sweepstakes. If you provide the correct response to a Clue, you will receive one (1) entry into the current individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes and one (1) entry into the overall sweepstakes (collectively “Online Entry”). To be eligible for a particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes, Online Entries must be received within the entry period for that particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes as referenced in the Entry Periods Chart. To be eligible for the overall sweepstakes, Online Entries must be received by 3:59:59 p.m. PT on July 16, 2007. Limit one (1) Online Entry per person/email address per individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes and limit one (1) Online Entry per person/email address per day for the overall sweepstakes. Multiple Online Entries submitted by the same person in excess of this limit will be disqualified. To enter without correctly responding to the Clue(s), legibly handprint your First Name, Last Name, Home Address (no P.O. boxes), City, State, Zip Code, Daytime Phone Number (including area code), and Date of Birth on a standard sized postcard (no larger than 5’’ x 7’’), enclosed in a postage-paid business size envelope (#10), and mail it to: Jeopardy! Google Daily Challenge Sweepstakes Alternate Entry, #1 - #30 (specify which individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes to be entered in: #1 - #30), P.O. Box [see Entry Periods Chart below for corresponding P.O. Box], Burbank, CA 91510 (“Mail Entry”). All Mail Entry information must be completed in full. For each Mail Entry, you will receive one (1) entry into the individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes specified on your Mail Entry, provided your Mail Entry is received by the deadline for that sweepstakes, and one (1) entry into the overall sweepstakes. To be eligible for a particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes, Mail Entries must be received by the Mail Receipt Date for that individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes (see Entry Periods Chart below). To be eligible for the overall sweepstakes, Mail Entries received must be received by July 20, 2007. Proof of delivery or receipt of an Online Entry or Mail Entry (collectively “Sweepstakes Entry”) will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of entry into the sweepstakes. Any attempted form of entry into this sweepstakes other than as described herein is void.

4. Prizes/Odds of Winning. There are thirty three (33) prizes. Three (3) Overall Sweepstakes Prizes and Thirty (30) Daily Sweepstakes Prizes.
a. Overall Sweepstakes Prizes. One (1) Grand Prize: $25,000. One (1) First Prize: $10,000. One (1) Second Prize: $5,000.
Odds of winning an Overall Sweepstakes Prize depends on the total number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Entry Period.
b. Daily Sweepstakes Prizes. Thirty (30) Daily Sweepstakes Prizes (one (1) Daily Sweepstakes Prize for each of the thirty (30) daily sweepstakes: $100.
Odds of winning a Daily Sweepstakes Prize depends on the total number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for that particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes.
Total ARV of all prizes: $43,000. Prizes will be awarded in the form of checks made out to the winners. No transfer of prizes. Prize will be mailed/shipped to street addresses within the 50 states of the U.S. and D.C. only. All federal, state, or other taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. Overall Sweepstakes Prize winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the year in which their prize is awarded. Limit one (1) prize per person/family/household.
5. Drawings and Notification of Winners: For each individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes, one (1) potential winner will be randomly selected from all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received for that particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes in a drawing to be held on or about the Drawing Date for that particular individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes, as indicated in the Entry Periods Chart. Non-winning eligible Sweepstakes Entries for an individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes will not be retained for subsequent individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes drawings. For the overall sweepstakes, three (3) potential winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received in a drawing to be held on or about July 27, 2007. All drawings will be conducted by sweepstakes administrator, an independent judging organization. Each potential overall sweepstakes prize winner (or, if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be notified by telephone (three (3) phone call attempts within a 24-hour period) of his/her potential winner status within two (2) weeks of the drawing date. Individual non-consecutive daily sweepstakes winners (their parents/legal guardians if residents of a jurisdiction that deems them to be minors) will be notified by mail within two (2) months of the drawing date. If a potential winner (his/her parent/legal guardian if a potential winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, and/or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such potential winner will be disqualified, and an alternate potential winner for that sweepstakes will be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. General Conditions: This sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state and local laws and regulations (collectively “Rules and Laws”). Each potential overall sweepstakes prize winner (or his/her parent/legal guardian if he/she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) will be required to sign, execute, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release (where legally permissible), and any other documentation that the sweepstakes administrator and/or Sponsor may require (collectively “Affidavit/Release”), within ten (10) days of first attempted notification or such potential overall sweepstakes prize winner may be disqualified. By returning a completed Affidavit/Release, overall sweepstakes prize winner (or his/her parent/legal guardian if he/she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) attests to the provisions stated therein including compliance with these Official Rules. Once submitted, Sweepstakes Entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in Sponsor’s privacy policy located at http://www.sonypictures.com/corp/privacy.html and except where prohibited by law: (1) any Sweepstakes Entry submitted by an entrant and/or any winners’ acceptance of a prize after successfully completing an Affidavit/Release constitutes permission of such entrant and/or winner (or, if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) for Sponsor to use, without notice or further compensation to entrant or any third party, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including, without limitation, on the Web Site or associated Web pages, each winner’s name, address (city and state), photo, likeness, biographical information, statement and voice for advertising/publicity purposes without further notice to or compensation in connection with said sweepstakes or the prize awarded and (2) Sponsor has the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and /or dispose of Sweepstakes Entries however it sees fit and for any purpose without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes (including, but not limited to, the use of automated computer programs or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), the Web Site, or any Web page or Web banner ad related to the sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be ineligible to win a prize and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes or any of the individual daily sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the sweepstakes or any of the individual daily sweepstakes and instruct the Sponsor to conduct any or all the drawing(s) and award the prizes from all eligible, salvageable Sweepstakes Entries received for a given individual daily sweepstakes or all individual daily sweepstakes and/or the overall sweepstakes prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or in a manner that is fair and equitable as determined by Sponsor. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant who submitted a winning Online Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with that Online Entry will be deemed the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other on-line organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Said owner must comply with these Official Rules and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, may be required to provide proof of ownership of the email account. Sweepstakes administrator is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize.
7. Limitation of Liability: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for Sweepstakes Entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), in excess of the stated limit, or for Mail Entries that are mutilated, postage-due, or for Sweepstakes Entries that are illegible, late, forged, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, incomplete, garbled, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, and all such Sweepstakes Entries will be disqualified. By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant agrees and acknowledges to be bound by the Rules and Laws, as well as the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the Rules and Laws, and that the Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal injury or death) in connection with: participation in the sweepstakes (including, but not limited to, ambiguous Clues and/or disputes over the responses to the Clues); typographical errors in sweepstakes promotional material; acceptance/possession, defects, and/or use/misuse of any prize (or prize component); cancellations and/or delays or any change by the company or any other persons providing prizes for the winners due to reasons beyond Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Entities’ control; any interruptions/postponement/cancellation of sweepstakes; human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of and Sweepstakes Entry information; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by the sweepstakes or by entrant; interruption or inability to access the sweepstakes, any sweepstakes-related Web pages, or any on-line service via the Internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrant’s (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of any one or more of the Sweepstakes Entities. Each entrant (or his/her parent/legal guardian if he/she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the sweepstakes and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against any of the Sweepstakes Entities. Winners (their parent/legal guardians if residents of a jurisdiction that deems them to be minors) release Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability/responsibility with respect to all prizes and/or the sweepstakes (including any property loss, damage, personal injury, or death) and hereby acknowledge that said Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize. Sweepstakes Entities shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (1) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Sweepstakes Entities, or any of its agents, servants, employees or independent contractors, (2) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of any of the Sweepstakes Entities, or (3) by any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of any of the Sweepstakes Entities.
8. ARBITRATION; WAIVER OF INJUNCTIVE RELIEF; GOVERNING LAW: BY SUBMITTING A SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT ANY CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE SWEEPSTAKES RULES, THEIR ENFORCEMENT, ARBITRABILITY OR INTERPRETATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION, TO BE HELD IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA BEFORE A SINGLE ARBITRATOR, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE §§ 1280 ET SEQ. THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE SELECTED BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT OF THE PARTIES OR, IF THE PARTIES CANNOT AGREE, THEN BY SELECTING AN ARBITRATOR FROM A LIST OF ARBITRATORS SUPPLIED BY JAMS (JUDICIAL ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES). IF THE PARTIES STILL CANNOT AGREE ON AN ARBITRATOR, THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE APPOINTED BY JAMS. THE ARBITRATION SHALL BE A CONFIDENTIAL PROCEEDING, CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE ARBITRATOR SHALL ISSUE A WRITTEN OPINION STATING THE ESSENTIAL FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS UPON WHICH THE ARBITRATOR’S AWARD IS BASED. THE PARTIES WILL SHARE EQUALLY IN PAYMENT OF THE ARBITRATOR’S FEES AND ARBITRATION EXPENSES AND ANY OTHER COSTS UNIQUE TO THE ARBITRATION HEARING (RECOGNIZING THAT EACH SIDE BEARS ITS OWN DEPOSITION, WITNESS, EXPERT AND ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES TO THE SAME EXTENT AS IF THE MATTER WERE BEING HEARD IN COURT). NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, THE ARBITRATOR MAY REQUIRE THAT SUCH FEES BE BORNE IN SUCH OTHER MANNER AS THE ARBITRATOR DETERMINES IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR THIS ARBITRATION CLAUSE TO BE ENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
ENTRANTS FURTHER UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THEY SHALL HAVE NO RIGHT TO ENJOIN OR RESTRAIN THE DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, DISTRIBUTION OR EXPLOITATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY MOVIE, PRODUCTION OR PROJECT OF SPONSOR OR OF ANY OF ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES.
ENTRANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE INTERNAL SUBSTANTIVE LAWS (AS DISTINGUISHED FROM THE CHOICE OF LAW RULES) OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA APPLICABLE TO CONTRACTS MADE AND PERFORMED ENTIRELY IN CALIFORNIA SHALL GOVERN THE VALIDITY AND INTERPRETATION OF THESE SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND ALL OTHER CAUSES OF ACTION (WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE SWEEPSTAKES RULES.

Google Daily Challenge Sweepstakes “Rules”/”Winners” List (specify which), P.O. Box 6735, Burbank, CA 91510. All requests must be received by September 17, 2007.
