Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions Winner
Tune in July 29 - August 2!

CULVER CITY, CALIF. (July 25, 2013) - JEOPARDY! Kids Week, featuring five nights of games between competitors aged 10, 11, and 12, will take place July 29 through August 2. The winner of each of the five games will claim their total prize money for the day and the title of JEOPARDY! champion.

"Kids Week is one of the most fun times on our show each year," said JEOPARDY! host Alex Trebek. "I'm always impressed by the young players' intelligence and entertained by their boldness. They make such gutsy wagers that sometimes I wonder if they realize they're playing with real money!"

The complete JEOPARDY! Kids Week contestant field is as follows:

  • Patrick Aimone, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Long Beach, Calif.
  • Zoe Assasie, an 11-year-old 5th grader from Urbana, Md.
  • Holly Boivin, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Nashua, N.H.
  • Clement Doucette, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Hudson, Mass.
  • Skyler Hornback, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Sonora, Ky.
  • Thomas Hurley III, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Newtown, Conn.
  • Shuli Jones, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • Aarin Martinez, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Torrance, Calif.
  • Blythe McWhirter, an 11-year-old 6th grader from Decatur, Ga.
  • Sallie Rawlston, a 10-year-old 5th grader from Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
  • Jonathan Shoemaker, an 11-year-old 6th grader from Austin, Texas
  • Xan Vessels, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Mechanicsville, Va.
  • Josiah Washington, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Columbia, S.C.
  • Erin Wenokur, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Lafayette, Calif.
  • John Wilkins, an 11-year-old 6th grader from Chevy Chase, Md.

In order to qualify for the tournament, prospective contestants were selected from those who passed a 25-question online test. These hopefuls were then invited to attend regional in-person auditions consisting of a second 25-question test, an interview, and mock game play.
