Amy Schneider continues to rise through the ranks of the Jeopardy! history books! She won her 39th game on Monday and grabbed the No. 2 spot on the all-time consecutive wins list with a total of $1,319,800 in winnings.

“It still feels unreal,” Amy said. “Knowing that I had this chance, I was definitely thinking about it …Then Ken said it, and I thought, ‘Alright, I just accomplished this huge thing’ and it was pretty great.”

With her latest victory, Amy has become the second longest-running contestant in Jeopardy! history, surpassing the 38-game record previously set by mega-champion Matt Amodio earlier this season. The two champs will face off against one another in the next edition of the Tournament of Champions.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity,” Amy said of playing against Matt. “It’s going to be a tight competition.”

Only one contestant has won more games than Amy and he happens to be the show’s current host: Ken Jennings, who has held the top spot with 74 wins since he set the record in 2004.

“Just knowing that he knows what it’s like to be in the position I’m in, it’s really kind of comforting having that on stage,” Amy said of Ken hosting during her historic run.
